Housebound Library Service
Our Housebound Library Service supports Sutton residents who are unable to visit their local library in person. This may be due to long-term illness, mobility difficulties, disability, or caring responsibilities. We know that for many people, getting to the library can be challenging, so we bring the library to you.
What the service provides
We can provide:
- Hardback and paperback books
- Large-print books
- Audiobooks on CD
- Other reading materials depending on your needs

You can apply if you live in the London Borough of Sutton and:

- Have a visual impairment or other disability that makes visiting a library difficult
- Are living with dementia
- Are a full-time carer and cannot leave the person you support
Referrals are welcome from individuals, family members, friends, carers, health professionals, and community organisations.
