<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Honeywood Museum</strong> hosts regular exhibitions as part of the events programme. The Grade II listed building next to Carshalton Ponds dates from the 17th century but was extended in the Victorian and Edwardian periods. The house has been beautifully restored to show how it would have looked when it was a family home. The Edwardian era billiards room, drawing room, bathroom and kitchen will let visitors step into the past and see for themselves how the residents of Honeywood would have lived.</span></p>

Built around 1500, Whitehall is a Grade II* listed Tudor house in the heart of Cheam Village. It is owned and managed by the London Borough of Sutton who opened it as a local museum in 1978 following a campaign by the community.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Following the recently completed National Lottery Heritage Fund refurbishment, we are delighted to invite visitors back to Whitehall to rediscover this incredible site for FREE. Inspired by Ruskin, Dickinson bought one of the first plots of land in this developing South London suburb at the end of the nineteenth century. Little Holland House is open on the first Sunday of each month with regular tours about the history of the house throughout the day.</span></p>

<h1>Rooms available to hire in Sutton's Library &amp; Heritage Venues</h1>

<p><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Sutton Libraries &amp; Heritage Houses have a range of hire rooms for booking. These spaces are ideal for meetings, exhibitions, conferences, networking, talks, training, community activities and much more. All rooms have access to Wi-Fi, toilet facilities, tables and chairs. Sutton Central Library and Cheam Library have induction loops. All our libraries stock a selection of large print books and talking books. Guide dogs are welcome in all libraries. The staff will be pleased to advise you before your visit.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 18pt;">All libraries stock a range of titles in large print, both fiction and information books. At Sutton Library the large print is located on the ground floor. Dictionaries, the Bible and a larger selection of information books are available.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 18pt;">Audiobooks are available in all our libraries. Titles include popular fiction, crime, thrillers, sagas, classics, biographies, travel, humour, etc. On CDs &amp; MP3 format. Audio books can be borrowed free of charge if you are visually impaired or have another disability or condition which makes it difficult for you to read print. Please ask for your membership to be updated.</span></p>

These can be downloaded at home for free. eAudio books are also available and can be downloaded to a suitable device, please ask for further information.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 18pt;">For visitors of Whitehall Historic House with Special Education Needs and Disabilities and their families and carers, Sensory Sacks are designed to support the experience of visitors with sensory needs.
