This LGBTQ+ History Month we have created a handy book list to help you find fiction and non-fiction titles that address the struggle for LGBTQ+ liberation and queer history and culture in general.

 

Courage to Be by Dr Clifford Williams

An account of The London Gay Teenage Group was a unique and ground-breaking youth group, which emerged in the heady days of the late 1970s and achieved registration as an official youth club catering mainly for gay and lesbian young people, at a time when gay male sex was still totally illegal for anyone aged under 21.

 

 

The Queer Bible by Jack Guinness
