Curated by Isobel Patten, work placement student from the University of Reading, this display looks into the legacy of Frank Dickinson (1874-1961), artist, maker and creator of Little Holland House in Carshalton Beeches. Featuring material held in the Borough’s Archives, the display explores the process of reviewing and recording the Frank Dickinson collection.

During the 19th century, Sutton was transformed by the coming of the railway and the consequent arrival of new suburban residents. Edward Harris Rabbits was an early mover in this transformation in South West Sutton, and Andrew Skelton will take you on a historical suburban tour of this interesting area from the 1850s through to the 1890s using the few surviving buildings from that time.
