Local author and artist Sandy Leong’s new book, Grandma’s Magic House, tells the heartfelt story of a little girl learning to cope with the loss of her beloved grandmother with the support of her family.
Inspired by this touching and meaningful story, Sandy will lead a storytelling session, followed by a creative craft workshop. During the workshop, children will make their own Family Treasure Box, a paper craft that represents memories, love, and feelings we hold for the people we care about.
Children will explore ways to express their love and appreciation for their family, and know how to understand and share their feelings.
Perfect for children aged 5 - 9.
