Join our Tudor Easter eggstravaganza!
At this free family drop-in, children will draw and learn about Tudor symbols, patterns, and famous portraits. After a bit of practice, they'll paint their chosen design onto a wooden egg to take home!
Family participation is encouraged and parents/guardians are asked to stay with their children while they draw and craft. Local arts educator Mark Pembrey will be present throughout the session to help and chat about the Tudors and Easter traditions.
No booking required; just turn up.
In the book “The River”, children are invited on a gentle journey through feelings big and small. Rowan loves the river because it’s just like him: sometimes happy and bright, sometimes slow and sad, and other times wild, splashy, and full of energy!
Inspired by this beautiful story, local artist Sandy Leong is hosting a fun storytelling session, followed by a creative craft workshop. Children will dive into their emotions by making their very own “Emotions River” on paper. As the river flows through four seasons, they’ll use different colours, tones, and brush strokes to show how feelings can change, swirl, and sparkle. All in a creative and imaginative way!
Perfect for children aged 5 - 9.

Join Polka Theatre for a heart-warming puppetry workshop at Wallington Library, perfect for families to enjoy together.
Inspired by Ruby's Worry, this interactive session invites children aged 4–8 and their grown-ups to explore the story of Ruby and her growing worry. Through lively, interactive storytelling, Polka's practitioners will help bring the book to life using movement, sound and imagination. Together, we’ll gently explore themes of feelings, friendship and emotional resilience, creating a safe and supportive space for children to recognise and talk about their emotions.
Then, inspired by the characters and themes of the story, children and their grown-ups will design and make their own simple puppets, ready to take home and use to retell Ruby's Worry in your own unique way!

Discover how films come to life one frame at a time in this creative hands-on workshop using LEGO.
Children will work in pairs to learn the basics of animation, explore how stop-motion films are made, and create their own short animated story.
They will plan their ideas together, develop a simple storyboard, then use tablets to capture images frame by frame to bring their LEGO scenes to life.
By the end of the session, each team will have created their own animated mini film to take away and share. Perfect for children who enjoy storytelling, creativity, LEGO building, and technology.
