Tamil Heritage Month is a month-long celebration dedicated to honouring the vibrant culture, history, and contributions of Tamil communities worldwide. It highlights the traditions, language, and achievements of the Tamil Community, celebrated across January each year.
In Sutton, we are celebrating the borough’s Tamil Heritage in the following ways:
Events
January marks the start of a new year and many of us will be making resolutions and trying new hobbies. January is also a time to celebrate some of the many diverse communities living in Sutton, including Tamil Heritage Month, and their new year- Pongal.
Join Sutton's Tamil community for a day of celebration:
