She creates unique sculptural pieces in clay, which replicate intense patterns found in nature. Working with science presenter Lucie Pitts, this engaging event will provide insight into some of the incredible work currently being carried out at Sutton's Institute of Cancer Research, whilst also exploring how science can be an inspiration for artists. Description:
Join Barbara Andrews and Lucie Pitts as they explore physiological cell biology through art. Through short presentations and demonstrations, participants will have the opportunity to use what they have heard and seen to construct cell shapes using clay, which they will be able to take home with them.
