Description:
Some superpowers are obvious, like flying or picking up a bus. But how about dancing powers, jam jar opening abilities, or drawing skills? In this fun family drawing workshop, we’ll practice drawing superhero poses and talk about amazing everyday superpowers, then create action-packed comic strips. Accompanying adults are encouraged to get involved with their children’s drawings and even create their own comics! This workshop is led by Mark Pembrey of Quickdraw Comics Club. The exercises are inspired by the novel Double Felix by Sally Harris, for which Mark assisted in writing a Make Your Own Comics supplement."
