Description:
If your head blew its top, what would burst out? Footballs? Kittens? Pizza?
In this fun drawing session, we’ll practice drawing facial expressions and make lists of the things we think about most, then create ‘exploding head’ self-portraits.
This exercise provides a foundation for creating expressive comic characters, and also reinforces a strong sense of identity, encouraging children to feel pride and gratitude for the things that are important to them.
Led by Mark Pembrey of Quickdraw Comics Club, providing special events and clubs for schools, libraries and venues across the borough.
