Description:
It was 50 years ago in 1974 that the Diamond Centre was opened on the present site on Woodmansterne Road, Carshalton. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary an exhibition is being held at Honeywood Museum, tracing the history of the centre and horse riding for the disabled. The Diamond Centre has always been an important part of the community and is recognised locally for its outstanding work, providing equine therapies for over 300 riders of all ages every week. The exhibition will be a chance for many people to relive those memories and also to find out more about the centre and the activities it offers.
