Traditional Chinese Music & Hongkong Culture

In recent years, many Hong Kongers have made Sutton their home, and we are excited to present a special Sutton Historians that looks at the traditional music and culture of Hong Kong. Lok Ting Wong (Music Director of Brew Ensemble) and Alyson Chan (Sutton Music Trust) will lead a talk and demonstration that explores Hong Kong's cultural history. Notes from the speakers: The term "culture" has a variety of meanings. In general, local culture refers to a community that shares a common language, habits, lifestyle, food, architecture, art and more within a specific geographical area. Local culture may difference from the mainstream culture in some ways.
